Dr. Mesfin's passion is for preventative care medicine and being a partner with pet owners in taking care of their pet's health care.
Dr. Mesfin is a 2000 graduate of Utrecht University, The Netherlands. Utrecht university veterinary faculty is the very first veterinary faculty to get accreditation by AVMA outside North America.
Vet Tech/receptionist Dana has been with Upper Marlboro Veterinarian Hospital Since the hospital opening in 2015, as a dedicated Veterinarian Technician whose aspirations are to provide the best care and treatments to dogs and cats; Dana is very educated in the field of Veterinarian studies and is inspired by the great doctor she works with. Dana has been working with animals since 2008 when she became a volunteer at a local animal shelter. In the years to come Dana plans on continuing the great care she provides as a Veterinarian Technician at Upper Marlboro Veterinarian Hospital.
Chloe has been working at Upper Marlboro Veterinarian Hospital since 2016. Chloe has been working in the animal profession since 2010. However, rescue and animal care has been a part of her life since childhood. She recently relocated from North Carolina to continue her education. Chloe’s aspirations are to leave behind a positive human footprint on the earth through animal rescue and rehabilitation. Chihuahuas make her melt!
Jessica is an experienced cliner service coordinator and vet tech.
Senait serves as administrator at UMVH. Beside working as a licensed practical nurse at a retirement home, her role here is for a smooth and efficient operation of the hospital. Senait lives in Crofton with her husband Dr. Mesfin and twin girls Mahlet and Meklit, a 4 yr old Bichon and Shi Tzu mix - Twister and a 16 yr old DSH cat - Mobie.
